Call times for this Saturday are 8:30 am for the Ashmore parade and 5:00pm for the football game. We are meeting at the school and taking busses to Ashmore but if you live in or around Ashmore and would prefer to meet us there just let me know. We will be wearing band shirts and khaki shorts for the parade and full uniform for the game.
We are scheduled to work clean up at the stadium after the game. This is something we get paid to do. As soon as the game is over the kids will grab a trash bag and spread out and pick up any trash left in the stands and surrounding area. Any parents willing to chip in and help would be greatly appreciated. The more people we have working the quicker we get done. |

Twelve Benefits of Music Education
1. Early musical training helps develop brain areas involved in language and reasoning. It is thought that brain development continues for many years after birth. Recent studies have clearly indicated that musical training physically develops the part of the left side of the brain known to be involved with processing language, and can actually wire the brain's circuits in specific ways. Linking familiar songs to new information can also help imprint information on young minds.
